The Zone of Interest

The commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss, and his wife Hedwig, strive to build a dream life for their family in a house and garden next to the camp. Written and directed by Jonathan Glazer (UNDER THE SKIN) and starring Sandra Hüller (ANATOMY OF A FALL) & Christian Friedel (THE WHITE RIBBON), THE ZONE OF INTEREST was nominated for five Academy Awards and won two, for Best International Feature Film and Best Sound. The story is loosely based on the 2014 novel of the same name by Martin Amis, which was itself based on real events.
