Solar 101 Educational Event

The Avalon Theatre and Solar United Neighbors are working together to build a brighter future! The nonprofits are teaming up to bring more rooftop solar to the District by providing educational opportunities and supporting residents and businesses in their efforts to go solar. The Avalon Theatre recently announced it’s Let’s Go Solar! Campaign that will help the institution reduce it’s carbon footprint, reduce its electricity bill and provide long-term financial stability.

Solar United Neighbors  invites the entire community to learn more about their work in D.C. and across the nation to make solar more affordable and accessible to local communities.  Join us for a free Solar 101 Info Session to learn more about the benefits of solar, the Avalon’s own solar endeavor and how you can help us bring more clean energy to the District!
