OASIS Thursdays

OASISOASIS proudly announces a new collaboration with the Avalon – “OASIS Thursdays.” The Avalon will host our regular “News & Views” forum, with former NBC News Vice President Sidney Davis and former ABC News President William Sheehan engaging the audience on the important issues of the day. Popular OASIS instructors Joan Hart and Seth Kibel will also appear at the Avalon this semester.

PLEASE NOTE! These are not Avalon Theatre Project events; they are being hosted by an outside party (OASIS). Please do not contact the Avalon Theatre regarding these screenings. Instead you may contact OASIS through their web site: oasisnet.org. Thank you!

422 Monet and Giverney:
An Earthly Paradise

Joan Hart, Art History Instructor, Museum One, Inc.
For more than 40 years, Monet’s home at Giverny was the center of his life. He transformed the grounds of what had been a farm into an earthly paradise — a spectacular complex of gardens, art studios, a Japanese bridge, and a water lily pond — that he immortalized in dozens of works of art. So enjoy a leisurely armchair stroll into a world that only an artistic genius could create! Further information about this topic may be found on the following website: www.giverny.org/monet/welcome.htm.
