Nocturnal Animals

Watch Trailer

Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal and Armie Hammer headline the second feature from director Tom Ford (A SINGLE MAN), about a woman who is forced to confront the demons of her past through a novel written by her ex-husband. Based on Austin Wright’s critically-acclaimed 1993 novel Tony and Susan, Ford’s second feature is a brilliant and unsettling thriller – and a sharp portrait of a woman in crisis.

Susan’s idyllic life as a successful Los Angeles art-gallery owner is marred by her husband’s constant travel. While he is away, she is shaken by the arrival of a manuscript written by her long-estranged first husband. The manuscript tells the story of a teacher who finds a trip with his family turning into a nightmare. As Susan reads the book, it forces her to examine her past and confront some dark truths.
