God’s Neighbors

Watch Trailer
“A worthy study of personal maturation and growth. The film’s raw power and controversial content…will ignite strong reactions among Jewish and Israel-minded audiences. – Todd McCarthy, The Hollywood Reporter

Avi, Kobi, and Yaniv, young working-class zealots, have appointed themselves enforcers of the Torah in their neighborhood of Bat Yam. Calling themselves “The Supervisors,” this hot-headed trio of yeshiva boys ensures that women are dressed appropriately, that business owners respect Shabbat, and that the Arabs passing through from Jaffa don’t overstay their welcome. The group’s dynamic is challenged when their leader, Avi, threatens a young woman who defies their rules, yet awakens his desire.
