Anomalisa

Watch Trailer
“There’s a special place in movie heaven for Charlie Kaufman. Kaufman represents something rare in filmmaking: genuine originality. Cerebral, sensitive, sometimes excruciatingly erudite, he’s a philosopher king among denominator-lowering commoners. – Ann Hornaday, The Washington Post
“A far more human story than most films I’ve seen with actual humans in them. – Jim Slotek, Toronto Sun

Academy Award Nominee – Best Animated Feature
From the brilliant minds of Charlie Kaufman (BEING JOHN MALKOVICH; SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK) and Duke Johnson (MARRYING GOD) comes the stop-motion animation wonder ANOMALISA.

Michael Stone, husband, father and respected author of “How May I Help You Help Them?” is a man crippled by the mundanity of his life. On a business trip to Cincinnati, he is amazed to discover a possible escape in the form of Lisa, who may or may not be the love of his life. A beautifully tender and absurdly humorous dreamscape, the film features the vocal cast of Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tom Noonan and David Thewlis and a stirring strings-based score by Carter Burwell.
